We got the ring design from the jeweler today and I am excited. Here is the history of the ring. The ring originally belonged to Rusty's Great-Great Grandma and it was passed down to Rusty through his Grandma Griffin. Since the ring is around 100 years old, the band was quite worn and there was some damage to the setting. We decided to have a jeweler replicate the original setting and transfer the original diamonds. We dropped the ring off at the jeweler's a few weeks ago so he could work on the replication. We promptly rushed to Target where Rusty purchased the finest ring that $14.99 can buy. I have been wearing the fake bling for the last few weeks. The high quality sterling silver is beginning to wear and a nice copper color is showing through. Finally, we received the design pictures today of the replication ring and we get to go see it in wax tomorrow. I cannot wait to see it. Enjoy the photos.
